We are pleased to announce a new initiative to streamline our procurement and accounts payable processes. Marathon Petroleum Company, LP (MPC) is partnering with SAP Ariba^® to fulfill our vision of moving away from paper and manually transmitted documents by implementing Ariba Network. The Ariba Network allows for a collaborative approach toward the shared aspects of business commerce (proposals, contracts, orders, invoices, and payments).  

MPC went live in Q1 of 2023 and will be moving to one Ariba Network connection (ANID) companywide in August 2023.

POs for vendors engaging with MPC through the Track system, and POs for Hydrocarbon, Transportation, Freight, Real Estate, Banking, Telecommunications and Utility transactions will not be transitioning at this time and will continue to be processed as they are today (no change).   In addition, MPC is not transitioning non-PO activity to Ariba Network.
